Qisetna is a platform that preserves the cultural and oral heritage of communities affected by conflict and displacement.
Qisetna, is at the frontier of Syrian arts and culture, a place where ordinary people write about their precious memories and so reclaim their cultural identity.
The platform runs free events, storytelling workshops and art exhibitions to encourage people to come together, share their precious memories of their home and reclaim their cultural identity and heritage.
Qisetna has organised the Syrian Night of Music and Storytelling in London in which Syrian migrants shared their stories and sang the original songs. It participated with Re:framing Migrants Media in Europe through Decolonizing The Newsroom event.
